VISCERAL OSTEOPATHY

Visceral osteopathy relieves restrictions in the interconnections between the motion of all the organs and structures of the body nerves, blood vessels, and fascial compartments.

CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY

Cranial Osteopathy uses only very slight pressure on the head or lower back to gently ease tension and allow the natural release of the bones.

STRUCTURAL OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy uses touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage/soft tissue to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and help stimulate your body’s own healing mechanisms.

OSTEOPATHY FOR NEWBORNS

Traumatic birth events such as a prolonged labour, a fast delivery, the use of ventouse or forceps, can all create dysfunction in the newborns body.

Osteopaths believe that these areas of structural dysfunction can cause physiological dysfunction. In  babies this can manifest in symptoms such as colic, sleeping difficulties, feeding difficulties, reflux, problems with wind and irritability.

Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment to relieve pain and restricted function. Osteopathy is aimed at treating the whole body, by improving overall flexibility and posture, resulting in improved health and a reduction in pain. An osteopath will look at the whole body for answers and solutions, not just the area which is painful.
